What is your favourite, or most used, inspirational quote?

Marc Anthony: “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”

What does great decision making look and feel like for you?

What creates good decision making is not a positive outcome. Great decision making is the result of a good process, open-mindedness and a willingness to compare to the expected outcomes.

When was a time you were at your decision making best?

Deciding when to leave a business that I founded, it was not easy, but outside the bubble of the company, it was the right decision.

Who inspires you? Why?

Anyone who finds success and a vocation doing what they love, the path might not have been obvious, but by following a passion and keeping an open mind, the success came.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to be a better decision maker?

Look to your future self, what would future you say about the choice current you is about to make? If the potential negative outcome was to eventuate, would you look back and say, “why did I decide to do that?” or could you say, “I made the right decision at the time.”

What are you reading/watching at the moment?

Break the Wheel: Question Best Practices, Hone Your Intuition, and Do Your Best Work – Jay Acunzo.

What is the most effective strategy you use for keeping your Ape (your emotional reactive state) in check?

Time, few calculating decisions require an immediate decision.

What type of decision maker are you?
